Peaked Tor Cove, London Bridge & Torquay SW Coast Path

Today we enjoyed a relaxing walk to the best views at Peaked Tor Cove, then a bit further along to London Bridge and NCI Torbay at Daddyhole Plain.

Overlooking the Torquay Sea Front from the Habour-side

Peaked Tor Cove

After passing through the Torquay Harbour and making our way up the street past the Imperial Hotel, we soon got to Peaked Cove. Despite having a hilly incline, it was not a difficult walk at all. The views were spectacular in every direction! We had to get a closer look so we walked down the steps, through the garden, then onto the concrete platform overlooking the sea.

London Bridge

A curved pathway and few flights of zig-zagged south west coast path steps and trail led us to the view point of London Bridge Arch. London Bridge is a natural arch on the coast of Torquay in Devon, England.

Another View Point

A second look-out point with a bench was just a few minutes away. Following along the coast path then led us to the Torbay NCI.

Torbay NCI, National Coastwatch & Daddyhole Plain

We checked out the Torbay NCI’s display, and were fortunate enough to capture one of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) boats heading back to shore.

It was lovely exploring a bit more of Torquay today :) Next up is Cockington Court!

And now for the walk back…
